Summer Lovin'

The new challenge is up at Color Me Scrappy and it is right up my alley..."Ode to Summer" Summer is my FAVORITE time of year so the only hard thing about this challenge was figuring out what photos I wanted to use!!!

Selfie challenge!

When I first saw this challenge at Scrap Our Stash, I immediately remembered this photo my son took of himself shortly after he got his glasses! This challenge was the perfect way to highlight this memorable moment in his life!

The challenge is to scrap a selfie photo! Since selfies seem to be so popular right now, I am hoping that many of you will join in with us at Scrap Our Stash!!!

Up-Cycle Challenge!

Good Morning scrappy friends! It is time for another fun challenge at Craft Hoarders. Today's challenge is all about up-cycling...


"Show us how you can up-cycle something using something from your hoard!"

I have been needing a place to keep all of my Project Life cards out in the open so I SEE them and 
I USE them!!! This challenge gave me the perfect opportunity! 



1)  I started by taking the top of of two Ziploc boxes ...

2) I covered all of the sides with Canvas Crop paper...

3) I then trimmed the top edges with washi tape...

4) I cut & adhered my patterned paper on all sides...

5) I added a border sticker, alphas & chipboard to the front...

6)  taped the boxes together and attached ephemera with 7 Gypsies clip

And here is the finished project...
