Just for Fun!

On two different scrapbook sites, I am playing along with a challenge I started called Scrap Your Luck. (thanks for the idea Barbara!) Everyone who wants to play along for the month contributes $5 towards the prize fund. Depending on the number of players, there could be multiple winners. The prize is a gift certificate to an online scrapbook store of your choice! Sweet huh?! I give 6 prompts at the beginning of each month and everyone is welcome to complete them all twice so you could have a total of 12 draws toward the monthly prize!! So fun!!!! If you are interested in playing, I host this on the My Scraps & More message board and you are welcome to join in on there! The other site is a closed group. This page was made for my April Fool's prompt which was to scrap something funny!

Tomorrow is a big day for me! I am revealing the first challenge on my site Scrap & Play and also my first challenge owning Color Me Scrappy! I hope that you will check them out and play along!!!

Have a great evening!!!

Craft Hoarders challenge #6

Good Morning! It's time for a new challenge over on the Craft Hoarders blog and this time the challenge was right up my alley.... a sketch challenge!!!!

Challenge #6 Sketch Challenge, with a Twist

Use the sketch below as inspiration for creating your project. You can modify the sketch to create a card, scrapbook layout, altered canvas, mini book cover, and so on. Now, for the TWIST! You must search your hoard and find one item that is OLD and one item that is NEW and use them BOTH on your project. Show us how you combine older items from your stash with something recently purchased.

My new is the Jillibean Soup ( a Hampton Arts co. who is the sponsor of Craft Hoarders this month) Spicy Social Soup and my old is and my old is the October Afternoon mini market alpha stickers and the twine!

Please head over to the Craft Hoarders blog to see the sketch and all of the other awesome design team creations!!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by and if you haven't yet had the chance, check out my new challenge blog, Scrap & Play! You can get in on the chance to win some fun goodies and there is also a design team call going on. Lot's of fun to be had!!

Boys Rule

A new sketch is up on the My Scraps & More sketch blog...

I used the Crate Paper Boys Rule collection...

This line has some many fun embellishments to use on your layouts. This controller was perfect of my son and his friends taken during his birthday party. They played A LOT of video games!!!
